Sewerage

On Monday 1 July, the State Government gazetted the South East Queensland Water Supply and Sewerage Design and Construction Code (SEQ Code) to take effect immediately. The SEQ Code is a comprehensive set of technical standards relating to the design and construction of water infrastructure in the SEQ region.  The SEQ Code will prevail over existing provisions within council planning schemes which currently determine water supply and sewerage infrastructure outcomes. More detailed information is available on the SEQ Code website www.seqcode.com.au

Ipswich Regional Centre Strategy Streetscape Materials Specification

Streetscape works associated with development within the City Centre (refer Part 5 Ipswich Planning Scheme) are required to be consistent with the materials and designs set out in the Ipswich Regional Centre Strategy Streetscape Materials Specification below:

Ipswich Streetscape Design Guide

The Ipswich Streetscape Design Guide has replaced the Ipswich Street Tree Strategy.  The new guide includes information on the  soft elements (trees, shrubs, ground covers etc) and hard elements (seating, litter bins etc) to be provided within streets. Streetscape works associated with development are required to be consistent with the guide .
