The Planning and Development Department has a strong focus on facilitating good quality development outcomes for the City of Ipswich and is proud to have received strong recognition from the SEQ Council of Mayors for current and emerging development assessment activities.  We are committed to 'leading the way' in best practice within South East Queensland, and the department is continuing to implement a range of business improvement initiatives in line with Council's Commitment to Planning Reform.

With this in mind, the Planning and Development Department has developed the 'Customer Service Charter' which outlines our vision, values and commitments to the City of Ipswich. It provides information on the services we provide as well as up and coming development assessment initiatives.
